About the illustrator

Welcome!

I'm Sarah-

An illustrator and designer. I'm also a mother of three children, primary school/ art teacher and living my dream of a slow, beautiful, life with my family in country Victoria, Australia.

I have a love of all the simple things in life -watching my children explore, cups of tea with friends and family, working out, tennis, cooking, my garden, fashion and home design, watching sunrises and sunsets, camping and travelling to find new adventures.

Most of all I love how the simple, beautiful things in life make us feel and connect. They are the magical bits of life. This is my inspiration for most of my art - to capture the magic, soul and warmth of life in all my work whether it is branding or design,  illustration, painting or illustrating picture books. 

Grief has been a big part of my life unfortunately since I was very young, but through my experiences I have been able to learn to accept grief is also a part of life and although sad we can move through grief and learn to live with it in beautiful meaningful ways honouring our loved ones. This reflects in my illustrations and a big reason why I offer them to help others and children learn to love with grief. 

I love working with people, hearing their stories and their 'why.' I enjoy connecting and welcome collaborations and commission work that resonates with my style of work. Being able to illustrate and create imagery for someone's story, enhancing or reflecting a brand through my unique warm style is what I’m passionate about.
